Bruce has over twenty years’ experience as a didgeridoo maker – his instruments are known around the world and are played by some of the world’s most respected didgeridoo professionals. This is an unique opportunity to learn the fine craft of shaping by hand your own high quality musical instrument using termite-hollowed eucalyptus from Australia, with instruction from one of the world’s best known and respected didgeridoo makers.

All timber and tools are provided and no experience is necessary
(Suitable for male and female participants over 15 years of age).

Participants: 3 minumum, 6 maximum

Durartion: Saturday and Sunday10am – 5pm

Program: As a general overview, the first day starts with an info session, with the rest of the day spent shaping the didges. The second day is for finishing any shaping (hopefully completed on the Saturday), then sanding and lacquering. The workshop ends with the fitting of wax mouthpieces (where required). The didgeridoos will be finished with the lacquer sufficiently dry enough for them to be taken home at the end of the workshop.

What participants have to take by their own: cotton or leather gloves

Extra info: Participants can request a key, but no big bells are possible due to timing reason. If anyone has a request, please ask by the end of June. It may be possible to fill requests after this, but not definitely.

DIDGERIDOO-MAKING WORKSHOP

Bruce ha un’esperienza ventennale come un costruttore di didgeridoo – i suoi strumenti sono conosciuti in tutto il mondo e sono utilizzati da alcuni dei più rispettati suonatori di didgeridoo  al mondo. Si tratta di un’occasione unica per imparare a creare a mano il proprio strumento musicale, di alta qualità, utilizzando fusti termitati in eucalipto Australiano, con l’istruzione di uno dei produttori di didgeridoo più noti e rispettati al mondo.

Attrezzature e materiali verranno interamente forniti dall’organizzazione.
(Adatto a uomini e donne partecipanti oltre 15 anni di età).

Partecipanti: 3 minimo, 6 massimo

Durartion: Sabato e Domenica dalle 10 alle 17.

Programma: Come una panoramica generale, il primo giorno inizia con una sessione di informazioni, il resto della giornata avverrà la sagomatura dei didges. Il secondo giorno è per la finitura di qualsiasi sagomatura (speriamo completato il Sabato), quindi levigatura e laccatura. Il workshop si conclude con il montaggio di bocchini di cera (dove richiesto). I didgeridoo saranno finiti con la lacca che sarà sufficientemente asciutta per essere portato a casa al termine del workshop.

Che cosa devono portare i partecipanti :  guanti in pelle o in cotone.

Informazioni aggiuntive: I partecipanti possono richiedere una nota desiderata. tuttavia campane enormi non sono possibili per motivi di tempo. Se qualcuno ha una richiesta, si prega di chiedere, entro la fine del mese di giugno. Si cercherà di soddisfare le richieste.
