Fibreglass didgeridoos are the latest technical innovation in the “windproject” production. The rosin we use is volatile-solvent-free, odourless and non-toxic under solid state conditions. The internal mould, reusable, is created in several steps so that it's possible to modify it until the desired tone is achieved (ask our tech. support for more details).
Afterwards, the mould shape is stored and can eventually be reused for a next order. This crafting technique allows interesting studies and researches which we are currently focusing on. Some of the advantages of using fibreglass are: lightweight instruments (less than 400gr./14oz. per didgeridoo), therefore an advantage for carrying them or playing on stage, the strength and resistance to high and low temperatures, preventing the risk of cracks on the instrument. They are appreciated by beginners, professional players and teachers, for their sound qualities, almost identical to wooden instruments, and for their easy handling. They can be ordered by pitch, tone and size. For the natural qualities of this material, oil application is not required. Each instrument comes with a 2-year warranty.

Advantages:

– lightweight, less than 400gr./14oz.
– sound and tone identical to wooden instruments (The sound of didgeridoos is mainly affected by their shape, only minimally by materials)
– very resistant to temperature changes, humidity and light knocks
– each mould can be reused for further identical instruments, both for pitch and tone. This solution is perfect for all teachers who must have several tuned instruments for a minimal weight
– possibility of having a backup instrument or being able to get a copy later (at a low price)
– rosins, fibres and charges used are non-toxic and completely odourless just after drying

Even if we use moulds, we still make these instruments by hand. Order time: about 3 weeks, 5 weeks for a custom mould.
Instruments tuned on common pitches might already be available.

The cost is: €210 VAT included for all pitches between low B and high G
€235 VAT included for other pitches or bells larger than 11cm/4.4inches

Trial Period

You have ten days trial. Then, if it does not satisfy your expectation, you can send the instrument back. We will refund the total cost (shipping costs ecluded).

Warranty

Chances of fibreglass breakage are almost non-existent.
Anyway, it is not indestructible, so please pay particular attention to not applying excessive weight on your didgeridoo.

– Our warranty validity period is 2 years from the date written on the warranty or on the vendor's receipt.
– It is valid for all instruments displaying our logo on the outer side of their bell.
Within warranty time, we guarantee repair works on instruments presenting cracks after proper use. Warranty is then not applied to cracks and/or damage caused by improper use, knocks or bad instrument care.
It covers our labour, material and shipping costs after the repair. The first shipment for repair is at customer's expense, whenever bringing us the instrument directly is not possible.
– Warranty might be void if glues or waxes are used to fix possible cracks.

Maintenance and use suggestions:

– All fibreglass instruments do not require any oil application.
Anyway, a periodical cleaning should be done internally and on the mouthpiece. For this operation, a small tissue and a spray can be used.
– No particular care should be taken towards sun exposure and climatic changes.
A padded case is suggested for transportation, to avoid damages.
